Leon Goldenberg, Chief Executive Officer
Leon Goldenberg has been the Chief Executive Officer of Goldmont Realty for over 30 years. He possesses a wealth of experience and consistent success. In his role as CEO, Leon maintains his founding vision while setting future goals for the company. He also takes the lead in investor and partner relations.
A proud member of the Jewish community, Leon serves on numerous Boards. He is First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at COJO of Flatbush and the Chairman of the Board at Shalom Torah Centers. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Agudath Israel of America, Treasurer of Agudath Israel of America Community Board and leads COPE, a college accredited CPA Program. In addition, Leon sits on the boards of various businesses in the health care field giving him a broad range of experience.
Sam Brown, Vice President of Operations, ext 214
Sam is the Vice President of Goldmont and oversees operations. He takes pride in the fair-minded management team that actively works to make balanced decisions for both tenants and investors. Sam holds a Bachelors Degree and attended Ohio State University. He has over a decade of Property Management, working in the Tri-State area with residential, commercial and Condo/Co-op assets. Unique attention to customer’s concerns and creative solutions describe Sam’s personal strategy for success.
Jeffrey Y. Friedman, Managing Director of Acquisitions/Asset Management, ext 246
Jeffrey Y Friedman serves as Managing Director of Acquisitions/Asset Management for Goldmont Realty Group. His primary responsibility is sourcing, underwriting and closing acquisition opportunities in the NY/NJ/PA area. In addition, he is responsible for property development/repositioning and portfolio oversight. Jeffrey Y Friedman began his career in 2012. He has served as consultant to various investors, assisting them in deal sourcing, underwriting and efficiently managing the investment process. He has served as an account manager for a foreign investor, managing his US accounts and securing various lines of US credit. To date, he has been involved in three sectors of the real estate industry; Office, Retail and Multi-family.
He completed his course work at NYU Schack Institute of Real estate, with a degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment. Since joining our company in 2014, Jeffrey has proven to be a real asset to the company. With his understanding of real estate financing and the NYC real estate market, he has complimented our team.
Marvin Basch, Property Manager, ext 222
Marvin manages a multitude of residential units and has been a vital part of Goldmont since 2004. He is an expert in his field with extensive experience in dealing with all five boroughs of New York City. The diverse regional experience that he meticulously provides is a dynamic asset, which the team regularly utilizes. On a personal note, Marvin truly enjoys working with tenants and he notes how they provide the highlights of his day.
Jonathan Samet, Property Manager, ext 229
Jonathan has worked in the field of Real Estate since 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College and has been a Property Manager at Goldmont since 2010. He manages residential, condominium and co-op units. As a Brooklyn native, he likes the warm environment at the office and the personal assistance, which the team provides to tenants. During those few non-working moments, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Jeff Friedman, Property Manager, ext 215
Jeff became a part of the Goldmont team, in early 2014, as a seasoned Property Manager. Previously, he managed 1,600 units and several retail centers in New York and New Jersey. During his 8 years of prior experience he also directed and oversaw all facets of construction and renovation projects. He deals with contractors, vendors and city agencies to assure full compliance with applicable laws and ordinances.
Saul Horowitz, Controller, ext 216
Saul Horowitz, a CPA., is the Chief Accounting Officer at Goldmont. He oversees all financial aspects of the Goldmont etal operation. This includes financial statements, general ledgers, payroll, budgeting, tax compliance, financing and vendors special analyses. He spent 25 years in public accounting and the last 13 years at Goldmont.
Abby Linsky, Assistant to the Controller, ext 237
Abby has been in the Real Estate Industry since 1995 and has been part of the Goldmont team since 2007. Abby has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Brooklyn College. She has a knack for unique problem solving. She enjoys streamlining tasks and completing projects thoroughly. As a bonus, she directs a personalized playlist of great upbeat music for her co-workers, from her office suite.
Shirley Lichtenstein, Accounts receivables, ext 225
Shirley attended Baruch College and has 31 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. She joined the team at Goldmont in 2006. She is proud to be a part of a team which provides truly good service to people. Shirley was born in the Bronx but has lived in Brooklyn most of her life. Spending time with family and friends is important to this travel enthusiast.
Nicole Fertig, Accounts payable, ext 223
Nicole has been with Goldmont for over 7 years. Her exceptionally on-point approach to her work is noted by all, as she enjoys satisfying open payables in a timely manner. She prides herself in ensuring continuity of services to the Goldmont portfolio.
Diana Belorusets, Residential leasing, ext 228
Diana has been with Goldmont since 2003 and holds a degree in Computer Science from ASA college. Diana moved to Brooklyn in 1994 and is originally, from Kiev (Ukraine). She is perfectly fluent in Russian and English, which benefits the company on a daily basis. She feels that what the tenants appreciate the most about Goldmont is the all encompassing “quality service that Goldmont provides.” She enjoys Goldmont because it is a family oriented establishment and has a professional-yet-relaxed atmosphere. She spends her weekends with her family
Jeanne Weisberg, Executive Assistant to the CEO, ext 226
Jeanne has over 25 years of experience as an Executive Assistant. She lives in Long Island with her two daughters and came to Goldmont in 2014.
Elana Tennebaum, Office support, ext 234
Elana implements various organizational structures within the company. She has been with Goldmont for over four years and regularly supports multiple staff members. She prides herself in multitasking and balancing the company’s short and long-term goals for file management and physical databases.
Reena Loewi, Account receivables support, ext 235
Reena is new to the team, but already a valuable asset. She assists in the overflow of work which lands in her department. Her key skills include her drive for results which leads her to finish her tasks in a impressively timely manner.
